Almost there!

Two more days and I'll be on my way to HSBC!

I have mixed feelings as to nervousness,anxiety,exitement and sadness of leaving my family and friends behind.
Earlier this week our church had a float decoration/going away party and then yesterday I had a going away thing up at harlan county resevoir. Both were a blast!

Thank you to everyone that came and for everyones prayer and support.

My mom and dad will be going down there with me to help get me setup and checked in.

Not much else for news but I will post again after I'm settled in.

 Is anyone out there?
It has been a long time since I started this blog; and it has come to my attention today that I have never posted anything! I plan on keeping up to date from here on out.

There has not really been anything to miss out on, but there is a lot coming up. I would greatly appreciate your prayers.

I'm finally starting my official training to become a missionary aviation mechanic and possibly a pilot.

To begin with, about two months ago my parents said that they would seriously recommend my attending a conservative Bible college. It made a lot of sense going into missions; so I decided to go for it.

That being said, I am enrolled at HSBC (Hobe Sound Bible College) in southeast Florida.

I'm headed out on August 16th! I'm registered in a two year program to obtain an A.S. in Aviation as well as my PPL (Private Pilot License). Lord willing, after HSBC I will attend SMAT (School of Missionary Aviation Technology) to get an Airframe and Powerplant license.

The last few months have been amazing!

Shortly after receiving a letter of acceptance from HSBC, I was unexpectedly laid off.

God has really stretched my faith through the loss of my job and the fast paced preparations for school. Up until I was approved by the college, I was planning on staying home and working another year. God has been proving His faithfulness to me even at the times I doubted. My church family and the friends God has blessed me with, who came alongside and supported me through prayers and giving, have been a great encouragement to me.

Other than that, there really isn't much going on! lol
